OVERVIEW
The Wildebeest Migration is one of the most exciting wildlife spectacles on the planet. Moving in a perpetual circular journey through the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem, most of the Migration takes place in the Serengeti. Olakira Migration Camp moves twice a year to be within easy striking distance of the herds. From December to March, the camp is in the Southern Serengeti at Ndutu. This is where the wildebeest give birth and the predators move in. From June to October, the camp is at Bolongoja in the north, where the herds start crossing rivers into the Masai Mara.
