OVERVIEW
As you spoon honey from a local women’s beekeeping project onto your breakfast, you can keep an eye out for kudu, giraffe and zebra from Oliver’s open-air dining deck, specially designed so that all guests have a perfect view. Everything here is calibrated to take advantage of the game, including night drives through the private concession in south-eastern Tarangire National Park. Look out for gerenuk, an unusual antelope that can stand on its hind legs for long periods while grazing!
Oliver’s Camp has everything you need from classic safari accommodation, including a family tent and smaller enclave nearby (called Little Oliver’s) for groups. Treat yourself to a dawn hot-air balloon ride and be awed by herds of buffalo and elephant below.
