OVERVIEW
The eastern Serengeti around Soit le Motonyi is known as cat country: big and small predators thrive here thanks to plentiful prey that makes these plains and acacia woodlands home. It is especially famous for its good cheetah population as well as sightings of shy serval. Olmara Camp makes the most of this abundance with views to the Ngare Nanyuki Valley and selected tents with rooftop ‘stargazer’ sleeping platforms.
Back-to-basics Olamara offers everything from traditional game drives to thrilling fly-camping and hot-air ballooning, two activities every safari lover should experience at least once. The tents are simple but very comfortable, with some being able to sleep four, ideal for small families or groups travelling together.
