OVERVIEW
The Palace of the Lost City looks like an architectural marvel from a fantasy movie: graceful wildlife sculptures, soaring towers and impressive interiors are all hugged by tropical vegetation and meandering waterways. It is the premium hotel at Sun City, a multi-faceted resort on the doorstep of Pilanesberg National Park and an easy drive from Madikwe Game Reserve and Johannesburg in South Africa.
The Palace offers a fun stay at the end of a Big 5 safari, especially for children who can let off steam in waterparks and various age-appropriate activities while the Crystal Court and Tusk Bar give grown-ups their own chance to unwind. Be sure to find Shawu, a life-size elephant statue that keeps guard over Palace guests!
