OVERVIEW
Cool, tranquil and effortlessly stylish, The Palm River Hotel is shaded by indigenous trees that have been growing on the riverbank of the Zambezi for decades. Birds and smaller wildlife still roam freely among the scattering of double-storey buildings, each comprised of the timber, exposed brick and corrugated iron so typical of much historical architecture at the Victoria Falls. The hotel makes sure it is firmly in the 21st century, with Wi-Fi, air conditioning and UBS charging points in all rooms.
At the travel desk, arrange a river cruise or even a specialist birding boating adventure to take in the spectacular dawn chorus. When you’ve been wowed by the Falls, head back for time in the pool or spa.
