OVERVIEW
Named after a white-flowering shrub, Sasaab’s organic walls and curves recall the architecture of Morocco. But there’s no mistaking that you’re in East Africa with views to the Laikipia Plateau and Mount Kenya. Situated in the Westgate Conservancy adjacent to Samburu National Park, Sasaab provides blissful privacy with a plethora of fun safari activities.
Game drives, nature walks, quad biking and camel trekking will take you in search of the Samburu Special 5: Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe and the weird but wonderful gerenuk! To really appreciate this region, take a flip over the Suguta Valley and Lake Logipi, a flamingo hotspot for birders. Children are welcome and the large pool will keep them occupied for hours.
