OVERVIEW
The Sabi Sand Game Reserve is arguably the most prolific and prestigious game-viewing area in South Africa. In its western corner lies a private slice known as Savanna Private Game Reserve where all of the Big 5 (elephant, rhino, lion, leopard and buffalo) run free as Nature intended. Accommodation, which is under canvas or thatch and quietly understated, is to a very high standard with every suite having a heated plunge pool – great for crisp winter days or balmy summer evenings!
While the Bushbabies programme entertains younger children with lots of age-appropriate activities, grown-ups can set off on night drives and guided nature walks to find the myriad other large animals (like giraffe) or small (like chameleons) that call Savanna home.
