OVERVIEW
There’s camping and then there’s Serengeti Under Canvas… From the outside, it looks like a classic safari camp from a bygone era. On the inside, tents have gleaming chandeliers, thick carpets, gleaming silver and tinkling crystal. Your private butler will look after you, bringing you hot coffee, a cold G&T or freshening up your boots.
Situated in the Western Corridor of Serengeti National Park, the camp regularly moves to different areas to ensure the best possible wildlife and Migration viewing. Kids will love the specialist WildChild programme while over-16s can book hot-air balloon trips to see the mega herds of wildebeest from the air. On game drives, look out for lion, cheetah, spotted hyena, black rhino, giraffe and – from mid-year – wildebeest.
