OVERVIEW
Private islands have a magical quality all of their own, especially when they’re in the remote paradise of the Okavango Delta’s Panhandle. The permanent water here allows for spectacular boating, mekoro rides, walking once levels drop, birding and unforgettable scenic helicopter flights. Sitatunga Private Island Camp is named after a rare aquatic antelope and has just two expansive units decorated in blue tones and textures inspired by the basketry of the Bayei fishing tribe.
If you need even more privacy, a short journey lands you at Sitatunga Private Island Suite, an exclusive-use two-bedroom villa with its own pool and boat. Surrounded by mature ebony trees, listen out for the call of a Pel’s fishing owl as you disconnect from the outside world.
