OVERVIEW

You’d never guess that Spier is actually a fairly large hotel because the rooms are so cleverly designed around a series of six courtyards that the atmosphere is more like that of a boutique hotel or quaint village. Expansive gardens, mature trees, secluded pathways and six private swimming pools allow you to disappear into a space of complete relaxation outside the historic town of Stellenbosch.

Spier Hotel is ideal for multi-generational families as there is truly ‘something for everyone’, including animal encounters, wine tasting, gourmet picnics, Segway trails and spa sessions. The hotel hosts regular art installations and its restaurants mean all meals are within strolling distance. It is an easy drive from Cape Town and the wider Cape Winelands.
