OVERVIEW
The Northern Circuit is Tanzania’s most popular safari destination but beautiful Tarangire is one of its lesser-visited parks. Stretching to the wall of the Great Rift Valley, it’s an elephant stronghold and – if your luck and eye are in – you may also spot endangered species like rhino and wild dog, and unusual raptors like long-crested eagles.
Tarangire Ndovu Tented Lodge is at one with this wild environment – even the canvas for the tents is locally made at Morogoro in southern Tanzania. The multi-level deck boasts a sun-drenched swimming pool with lovely views while the tents (including two family units) are spacious, elegant and comfortable. The lodge has a great balance between natural serenity and mod cons, like Wi-Fi and charging stations.
