OVERVIEW
A short while after stepping off the plane, you could be on your first game drive and already spotting lion, leopard, giraffe or rhino. The Emakoko is a perfect stopover for those who want to cram in as much ‘bush time’ as possible while in Kenya.
Built on the valley that overlooks the Mbagathi River below in the Kitengela Conservancy bordering Nairobi National Park, the lodge offers unbeatable proximity to international and regional airports plus all the comforts you need (perhaps an in-room massage after the flight) while still giving you a great game experience. Despite being so close to the city, the park is home to 400 bird species and big hitters like cheetah, buffalo, zebra, baboon, lion and leopard.
