OVERVIEW
The Hide is a classic Hwange safari camp with superb guides, 180-degree views over a popular waterhole (with an eponymous sunken hide, of course) and access to a sizable private concession in eastern Hwange. In addition to traditional game drives and nature walks, you can visit the Painted Dog Centre to learn about wild dog preservation and retire to The Dove’s Nest to sleep under the stars…
The main lodge can be configured so that several tents become The Private Hide for groups or families. If you want even more privacy, plump for Tom’s Little Hide, which also has a private guide and vehicle. Furniture is crafted from beautiful Zimbabwean teak and the underground hide (and wine cellar!) offers stellar, up-close-and-personal game viewing.
