OVERVIEW
The Garden Route along South Africa’s Southern Indian Ocean coast is famous for iconic sites and activities like the Tsitsikamma National Park, fresh oysters, Robberg Nature Reserve and long golden beaches. Just steps from the beach in prestigious Plettenberg Bay is The Old Rectory, housed in ‘Plett’s’ oldest surviving building that has been a rectory, school, blacksmith’s workshop and a church.
Today it is a sophisticated boutique hotel that pays homage to South Africa’s past and future. Suites are individually decorated and ideal for honeymooners. The pool and spa beckon you, and there are gorgeous spots for outdoor meals. If you want to stretch your legs, swim in the ocean or sunbathe, beautiful Wedge Beach is a stone’s throw away.
