OVERVIEW
Mana Pools is not only a UNESCO World Heritage site, it is also a beautiful national park that offers everything from game drives and nature walks to canoeing and catch-and-release fishing on the Zambezi River. This is a great place for special sightings like herds of fuzzy waterbuck and wily elephants who’ve naturally mastered the art of standing on their hind legs to reach succulent fruits and berries.
Zambezi Expeditions is a small camp of only six very comfortable tents, all with solar power and bucket showers – ideal if your focus is on the game. It is closed during the summer rains, opening in autumn to welcome guests who want a down-to-earth, rustic and back-to-nature safari experience.
