You kick off at a historic seaside hotel in one of Cape Town’s most vibrant enclaves that is close to Table Mountain, Robben Island and the V&A Waterfront, with easy road access to the Winelands, Cape Point and African penguins at Boulders Beach. Then you unwind with three nights on a private island before jetting off to one of Zambia’s wildlife kingdoms: South Luangwa National Park on the mighty Luangwa River. It’s a bittersweet farewell to the staff at The Winchester as you depart for a direct flight to Livingstone in Zambia, the hub for visiting the Victoria Falls. You home at the world’s largest falling sheet of water is Tintswalo Siankaba, an intimate lodge on the Zambezi River. Your days will be filled with visiting the Falls, browsing craft markets and revelling in Zambia’s famous friendliness and hospitality. We suggest sleeping late as soon the dawn wake-up calls will begin!
